| Supreme Court: | Opinion Link Opinion Date: 11-14-2019 Opinion Author: Justice Coleman Holding: The Motion to Amend Rule 26 of the Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure; a letter motion; and the Motion to Amend M.R.C.P. 26 are granted. Rule 26 of the Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure, its Advisory Committee Historical Note, and its Advisory Committee Notes are amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit A. The amendments shall be effective January 1, 2020. The Clerk of this Court shall spread this order upon the minutes of the Court and send a certified copy to Thomson Reuters for publication in the advance sheets of the Southern Reporter, Third Series (Mississippi Edition), and in the next edition of the Mississippi Rules of Court. |
