Summary of the Facts: The Mississippi Bar has filed a formal complaint seeking discipline against attorney David L. Robinson under the provisions of Rule 6 of the Rules of Discipline for the Mississippi State Bar. Robinson entered a guilty plea to one count of possession of child pornography in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2252A(a)(5)(B) and 2256(8) before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi and was convicted and sentenced to probation for a term of five years.

Summary of Opinion Analysis: Filed with the Bar’s formal complaint are certified copies of the judgment of conviction, which under Rule 6(a) constitute conclusive evidence of Robinson’s guilt. The period allowed for appeal from Robinson’s conviction has expired.
