Topic: Post-conviction relief - Time bar - Successive writ

Summary of the Facts: William Taylor pled guilty to burglary and was sentenced to twenty-five years. Taylor filed post-conviction relief motions on November 19, 2002; September 15, 2004; and December 29, 2004. All were denied. Taylor’s current motion for post-conviction relief was dismissed. Taylor appeals.

Summary of Opinion Analysis: Taylor’s motion is time-barred since he apparently filed it more than three years after his conviction. It is also barred as a successive writ.
