Opinion Date: 04-30-2009 Holding: Motions filed by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and Nationwide Property and Casualty Insurance Company (jointly referred to as Nationwide) and Attorney General Jim Hood, seeking leave to participate in oral arguments in this case are granted only for extraordinary reasons, pursuant to M.R.A.P. 29(d). Nationwide and Attorney General Hood are granted leave to participate in oral argument of this matter on June 9, 2009, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The petitioners, amici curiae, are restricted to presenting argument only as to issues presented in the briefs of the parties, appellants, Margaret Corban and Magruder S. Corban, and the appellee, United Services Automobile Association a/k/a USAA, as they apply to this specific case. Nationwide and Attorney General Hood will each be limited to fifteen minutes of argument. The Corbans and USAA will each be limited to forty minutes of argument. No other arguments will be allowed. |
