Disposition: Trey Allen Beamon elected to file a "Petition to Plead Guilty" to the lesser crime of “strong arm robbery[,]” in exchange for the State’s recommendation of a fifteen-year sentence in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (“MDOC”). Thereafter, the Circuit Court of Neshoba County, Mississippi, although not required to do so, accepted the State’s recommendation and sentenced Beamon to fifteen years in the custody of the MDOC.
