Disposition: On March 19, 1998, the PERS Medical Review Board voted to discontinue his benefits. The PERS Board of Trustees adopted the Disability Appeals Committee's Proposed Statement of Facts, Conclusions of Law, and Recommendations, and terminated Freeman's benefits by order dated August 24, 1999. Freeman then appealed to the Hinds County Circuit Court, First Judicial District, which affirmed the order of the Board.
