Topic: Robbery - Weight of evidence

Summary of the Facts: Calvin Reed was convicted of robbery and was sentenced as a habitual offender to life without parole. He appeals.

Summary of Opinion Analysis: Reed challenges the weight of the evidence. He claims that testimony of two witnesses was inconsistent. The jury found the testimony of the State’s witnesses to be more credible and resolved any minor inconsistencies in the evidence in favor of the State. When viewed in the light most favorable to the State, the evidence supports the guilty verdict.
