Summary of the Facts: Eddie Johnson pled guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and burglary. He was sentenced to three years on the firearms charge and twenty-five years on the burglary charge to run consecutively. Johnson filed a motion for post-conviction relief which the court dismissed. Johnson appeals.

Summary of Opinion Analysis: Motions for post-conviction relief must be filed within three years of entry of judgment of conviction. Johnson’s motion was untimely. The order of the court sentencing Johnson was entered on December 1, 1997, and he filed his motion for post-conviction relief on October 4, 2001.
